I did something like this on the air, just kind of pulled it out of my head.

And then a guy named John Gray and Cincinnati, Ohio, did a much more elegant version of

it.

And I have no idea if his followed mine or if it was just great minds think alike or if

we were all thinking in those terms back then, because this was just a month after George

W. Bush, excuse me, after Barack Obama.

No, this was at the end of the term of George W. Bush.

Obama was running for president, but there had not yet been election.

But here it is.

It's a day in the life of Joe middle class Republican.

And I want to share this with you and then contrast it with what Trump is trying to do.
