Good morning, Miss Jones. Good morning, Mr. Parry. How are we doing today?

Doing very well today, indeed, thank you. There's one issue I've got to bring up before we get going on this marvellous

chapter from Planet Porky, a rock chick writer extraordinaire, the decadence of the life that you've led Miss Jones,

the people that you've known, the rock stars you've mixed with, the shenanigans you've got

yourself into, and it all ends up as you start to grow older and get a bit more mature

with you taking a position in the church. Please tell all.

Well, it sounds like this has just been sprung on me, doesn't it, the last minute?

But actually, as you well know, I've been involved with St. Bride's Church on Fleet Street,

the journalist church, as we've all known and loved it for many, many years, decades in some cases.

I've been involved there for 34 years.

And recently I was asked to stand as a church warden, which was a huge surprise.

A very great honour, and I have accepted the position.

So when you wander into your next memorial service at St. Bride,

you may well see me sort of gowned at the back, showing people to their seats and so on.

Now, you get out the running order and all that kind of stuff, yeah, the service order, yeah?

That is actually what the Guild of St. Bride is responsible for.

So the Guild, which are all the men and ladies nowadays in brown coats, who sort of organise

the service and help the clergy to make things run smoothly.
