We'll return now to the original purpose of this podcast which was to go through the

Premier League seasons one by one.

There's been a few people in our ears on Twitter bleating because we haven't done any of these

since like last December. The reason is that we found them quite dull and there was other things to talk about.

But you know, this is what you want, we'll go back to it, we'll have a go for a couple of them,

see what happens. We're looking at 2008, 2009.

There's just a few bits that we can pick out

highlights of the season.

What's interesting is looking back on the coverage at the time.

Because we're not going to go through this chronologically like we used to, right?

We're just cherry-pick on those.

The headline thing is actually quite pertinent

because it's the cover image of our Twitter account.

It's the famous incident with Phil Brown taking his players out onto the pitch,

his whole city players, to give them a dressing down on the pitch at

half time in front of everyone when they were losing, right?
