I actually expected this one to have some decent stuff on it.

There was a little bit of depressing bollocks.

And there were a few, there were quite a few guys on this card who I was wondering why

they're here.

I think we're in this peculiar place in fight sports where some of the MMA organizations

have worked out that they get publicity for signing fighters.

And then if they don't give them fights they don't have to pay them which is

currently what one championship and um pfl are doing uh much to the chagrin of the fighters

lots of fighters asking for their release from pfl and won they had dj is such a company guy

they had dj out here saying that he's been offered $2 million to fight. And it's like,

that's the perfect outcome that you don't want to fight because you're telling everyone

that they're going to offer you $2 million, which they don't have, to fight, but you're

not going to fight. What a great advertisement. But the other end of that is that the UFC has so

many fighters on the roster now that if you tally up the number of spots, you know, say 12

fights on a card, which is the standard, the number of cards they do a year, which I believe is

somewhere between 45 and 48, that's what it's been since 2014. So anyone who tells you this

is getting worse because the number of events is wrong. But if you

tally it all up, it's actually impossible for everyone to be offered or for everyone to take
