So correct me if I'm wrong, but you've always bounced back and forth between fine arts and comics, right?

Yeah, we're in a world now of multiple revenue streams, right?

about that and a little bit about your journey to where you are now? Sure. When I was a teenager, I was

attracted to cartoons and comics and we can break that down into detail if you want but for now I'll just say I worked a little bit professionally as an assistant to different artists and got my foot in the door with Marvel Comics and eventually worked in

animation at the at the animation houses in LA like Filmation and Hannah

Barbera but I really wanted to be a fine artist. I wanted to go to Arts Center, but couldn't afford it.

So my parents game plan for me was that if I went to a JC, got a bachelor's, they would consider

funding Arts Center for me, but they wanted me to do a little test.

I got to the JC and nobody wanted to draw or paint traditionally and that's what I wanted to do.
