Summary

In today's episode I answer 20 questions about New Orleans. These questions were submitted by listeners like you.

We cover everything from the laid back culture of New Orleans to the best things to do in April, which festivals are fun and affordable, and more.

Time Stamps

52 We visit every year in September. We like to have the city to ourselves when there's not a large festival going on. Any local activities, festivals or events off in mid September?

36 How does the laid back culture of New Orleans fit in with the corporate or working world? Is it understood that people are not going to be around during Carnival? When you moved away, did you notice a difference in work ethic and how did you adapt?

32 What's been the most unexpected things you've experienced with the growth of the podcast?

30 Was there a curse on Jayne Mansfield that caused her to die in a car accident in New Orleans?

51 What are the best places in the city to enjoy the weather before it gets too hot?

56 What about a progressive dinner featuring at least two restaurants?

26 When does it get hot?

20 How long can you eat crawfish?

00 Is Jazz Fest just jazz? Does Jazz Fest even have jazz?

50 Where can one lounge outside and/or drink get a drink and sit outside?

36 What are some festivals that don't have a high admission fee?

36 What's going on at The Historic New Orleans Collection?

26 Where may I find (people) resources who may know a little something about Italian immigrants in NOLA in the late 1800s/early 1900's?

30 What's happening on/around Easter?

46 Will you be going to Jazz Fest? Your favorite fest food & stage?

15 Are there car garages where you can rent spots if you live in the French Quarter?

25 Is there a Muffaletta Expo?
