going to play for you a short

clip that I put up a few weeks before, a clip of Brett Weinstein talking to Joe Rogan

with Jordan Peterson, where they talk about this idea of truth, what he calls metaphorical

truth and literal truth. And then I give my analysis of that.

It's important to have heard that because at the end of the Q&A, the mediator announces,

ask Brett Weinstein if he's heard the clip and then asks him to respond, and the most interesting

part of the discussion then ensues, sadly to have the discussion

cut off towards the end. We hope that one day we continue the discussion, but that seems improbable

Though I'm sure that for those who've been following me, you can surmise what I think about this already.

Maybe at some point I'll put something together.

But in the meantime, I wanted to give you a short comment, which is moving in that direction,

let's say.

So a few weeks ago now, on the Joe Rogan podcast with Jordan Peterson and Brett Weinstein,

they had a discussion commenting on the whole Harris-Petersen conflict about truth.

And just like Sam Harris, Weinstein and Joe Rogan just couldn't grasp the extent of this question.

And that's really a problem. There really is a kind of blindness to consciousness and blindness to the extent to which the scientific truth they love so much is embedded into religious

structures embedded into language embedded into patterns of being I mean I don't want
