0:44.3 | yoga down the community. I am a yoga teacher. I have been teaching for over 20 years, |
0:49.2 | started in 2000. And I'm also a licensed psychotherapist. I came to yoga first and essentially saw the |
0:57.4 | practice transforming me changing my life from the inside out, really feeling that healing. |
1:04.3 | And at the time I started practicing, I definitely, although I wouldn't have named it this |
1:09.9 | at the time, I definitely was suffering from |
1:11.8 | low self-esteem. This is in my early 20s, depression. And when I started doing yoga consistently, |
1:19.5 | it completely started to alleviate this. And I could feel shifts in my emotional state, |
1:25.1 | even in my personality traits, and deep healing. |
1:29.1 | And I really wanted to understand how is this working? |
1:31.7 | How is it that I'm doing 90 minutes of strong binyasa on my mat? |
1:35.8 | But it's having these real effects in my mental emotional body. |
