0:59.0	And a lot of you are not in school, but you're probably gearing up to start back in a few weeks and you might be thinking
1:08.4	about clinicals, especially if it is your first semester.
1:13.8	When I was a nursing student, I was really confident
1:17.8	in my skills as a student,
1:20.3	and all of you probably are, because you had to work so hard and be such excellent students.
1:29.6	Just to even get into the program, you had to be on top of your game. You know how to do this. You know
1:36.0	how to prep before class. You know how to show up and be totally present. You know how to
1:42.2	review material, study for exams, all of that stuff.
1:46.7	But clinicals is a whole other thing and if you haven't spent any time in a hospital as a volunteer or
1:54.8	CNA, then walking into a hospital for that first day
2:01.9	as a clinical student can be so terrifying and nerve-wracking.
2:07.5	I remember when I was a student we had our preclinical conference every morning before we went up to the floors and it was I think we had to be there about 6.30 in the morning, 6.15.
2:22.0	And my stomach was in knots every time, every single time.
