So today we're going to be talking about something that I developed when I was a student.

It's a systematic way of looking at the information you need to absolutely know for different disease processes.

And before I get into all of that, I just want to say that if you're struggling with case studies, if you find that they're taking you forever because you're all over the place with what you're looking up, what you're writing about, what you're trying to learn.

This can help you immensely.

And if you're also just studying in general, you know, a certain disease process and you feel like, oh my gosh, there's so much

information I don't really know what to focus on. This method can help you tre tremendously.

Once I started using this, I was able to really organize my thinking

and it made remembering the things I needed to remember so much easier.

And now as a nurse I find that I can use this information and this method

as I go along and as I take care of patients. So this is called L'Ate, just like the coffee,

though it has really nothing to do with coffee except that when I came up with it, I was sitting at my desk and really struggling with

going way overboard on my case studies.

And I looked at the coffee sitting on my desk and I thought, there's got to be a way for me to organize my thinking.

And I came up with L-A-T-E-N-T-E-N-T-E. So that is an acronym you guys and that is L A T T E.

So each letter represents a portion of this thought process so that you can really hone in on what you need to know
