This tale is truly terrifying.

I mean, even I had a difficult time not thinking about his case when it was time to go to sleep.

So I wanted everyone to know that if you thought any previous episode was horrifying, this one may haunt you just a bit longer.

Being forced to uproot and move homes can sometimes have a devastating effect on children.

If the moves are frequent or require a child to leave a place they truly feel is home,

kids can be seriously traumatized, whether they show it or not.

If the move is a result of parents splitting up, that can add another layer of pain

onto an already tender wound.

Diana and Stacey Chishism's marriage appeared to have been tumultuous.

They married in September 1998, and their son Philip was born in January of 1999.

In March 2001, Diana filed for a legal separation with the requests made for supervised visitation

only by the father.

Both signed a parenting plan document that said Stacey Chisholm had committed both physical and

emotional abuse against his family.

They reconciled that summer. Divorce filings were made in 2011 and again in 2013.

Stacey Chisholm accused his wife of suffering from depression so crippling she verbally abused Philip and rocked catatonic on the sofa for hours at a time.

She accused him of adultery and later failure to provide financial assistance.

The couple's divorce was eventually finalized in October 2014.
