Hello everybody. Welcome back to maternity live episode two. You guys I'm so overwhelmed

by the support and the reaction to the first episode from people who are

pregnant trying to get pregnant to people who are newly single and kids aren't

even remotely on their radar.

I'm just really not only appreciative of the support,

but also of how much you guys have been willing

to open up and share with me.

I think on one side, it makes me feel less crazy right like I'm going into this deep dark

black hole every day of just like feeling like everything is so difficult and I'm really

struggling to knowing that I'm not alone in that.

And then on the other side of it, which I think is so fascinating,

as so many people reacted to the notion of just cutting the fat from relationships.

And, you know in every stage of life you become a

different person and in that person you require different friendships and I think

right now in this phase of my life like I am realizing what I require and what I don't.

And what I'm trying to really do is wrap my head around.

Like, I would rather be more excited about what's to come than feel bad about the things that are currently leaving my life.

And so I think about things from like mommy and me to friggin PTA, that just like over time there's going to be a whole new

host of people that enter my life and like I just want to be more excited about

that than feel down about the people that are leaving my life and you know maybe they're not

leaving entirely maybe they're just kind of leaving in the way that they currently

exist in my life but you know so many people reached out to me about my podcast, a lot of people that I know,
