Hello everyone welcome to the very first episode of the maternity live

podcast I am so excited to finally be able to share so many things with you but most of all this podcast because

so many people have been asking me to do a podcast for a really long time everything

from work-life balance career advice, dating advice, and you know I thought a lot about

it because there are a lot of podcasts out on the market about those topics and I feel like

people listen to a lot of podcasts about those things and I always think about how I can be different, how I can offer up a new point of view, something interesting to share, and given I'm in this new phase of my life just about halfway

through my pregnancy just add that on top of all of the different advice I can

give I figured now was probably the best time to share everything that I could possibly share about everything that I'm learning everything that I'm hearing everything that I'm experiencing with so many of you.

And I think for me, and I'll be totally honest with you, and we may or may not shed a few tears on this

podcast but I have definitely had a more difficult time with everything changing and happening

in my life and I think one of the things I noticed

is that there's not really a great source of real

and honest information, discussion, conversation

about things that happened in your life during the many

different stages of life whether that's when you find a new significant other when you

find a new job when you get pregnant motherhood fatherhood parenthood and so I really

want this to be an environment for all of us to kind of share everything that

we're dealing with struggling struggling with, learning.

And I, too, am going to be very open and very honest

about all the things that are happening to me

that I'm struggling with that I'm excited about.

Because the reality is that life is really fucking hard.
