Hey everybody and welcome back to I just want to talk about the Bible.

In case you missed the introductory episode, my name is Christian Keeter and I'm really excited to be here with you again today.

So I really wrestled through what I wanted to talk about in this first episode because in truth,

it's not trying to come up with content.

It's just knowing how to organize it because like I mentioned in the introduction, so much of

what I'm going to be sharing with you guys is what the Lord has shown to me.

And I have a journal in particular that I have

used strictly for recording what God has been showing me. And I've been writing stuff down to that for

about three months now and it's just about full. But I believe that I know where we need to start,

especially given the state of the world right now.

So it is June 30th, 2020, currently.

So we are actually still in the midst of this coronavirus pandemic, the COVID-19 crisis,

and it has affected all of our lives in many, many different ways.

I personally know people who have contracted it

and come out the other side, fully recovered, praise the Lord. There are people who have lost

jobs and all sorts of things. I know them personally as well, but everybody has been affected

on some level by this.

And so I'm hoping that today our conversation will provide a slightly different perspective, some hope, some encouragement, and that you walk away feeling empowered.

So let's get into it. A little while ago, when I first wrote down what I'm going to be sharing with you guys today, I felt that I had a whole bunch of,

I felt like I was really emotionally tense. I guess you could say. I felt like a balloon that was

overinflated. And I wasn't necessarily sure why. I could look at a couple things here and there.

So I sat down and I just started working through this with the Lord, praying through it, journaling, and all of that.
