It's going well.

I'm pretty lonely out here in this stone circle.

Nobody's been here for a few years.

And I'm kind of wondering how exactly my life is supposed to operate.

Like, what are the rules?

Anyway, I'm doing great, ready to talk about these two chapters.

This story just keeps kind of taking new directions every chapter.

And it's kind of endlessly surprising. And that makes

it very fun and rewarding to keep reading. Yeah, this week on the show, we are going to be covering

chapters two and three of the Dark Tower, book one, the gunslinger. Roland, dying of thirst,

stumbles upon a way station in the middle of the desert where he meets a young boy named Jake

who comes from a city of tall buildings and metal vehicles called New York. Taking Jake with him,

the two finally managed to get out of the desert and after out-sexing a sex demon, they run into

the man in black and chase him into the mountains. So, Matt, what did you think?
