| 0:05.6 | Welcome to the club. |
| 0:13.0 | If you're new here, you should know that our goal here at the Bible Book Club is to read and discuss the entire book of the Bible, and you are along for the ride. |
| 0:21.8 | That's right. So let's recap where we are now and how Second Samuel fits into the Bible. |
| 0:27.5 | So the entire book of the Bible is one complex historical story made up of many, many stories that lead to one grand purpose. |
| 0:36.3 | And that's God's plan to redeem and save the world. |
| 0:40.2 | Now, within the complex story, that big one, there are many notable heroes like Noah and |

| 2:10.5 | So listen to how the Apostle Paul explained this transition to the people of Antioch in Acts 13. He's going to explain the transition |
| 2:20.1 | from these ancient Old Testament heroes to David and to the present. Acts 13 starting in verse 13. |
| 2:27.8 | From Paphos, Paul and his companions sailed to Perga in Pamphelia, where John left them to return to Jerusalem. From Perga, they went on to |
