This is the Bible Book Club. I'm Susan. And I'm Heather. And we're in the book of Second Samuel.

In the first episode of season 10, David learns of Saul's death from an Amalekite who loses his life for claiming to have killed Saul. David also pays tribute

to Saul and Jonathan, his great friend, in a song. This song expressed his grief for the loss of the

king, but most of all for the loss of his beloved friend Jonathan. And he not only writes this song
