Hi there, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I have the joy and privilege of praying you through the Bible verse by verse.

We're marching our way through First and Second Peter.

Today I'm going to be reading 2 Peter chapter 2 in the World English Bible, and this is what it says.

But false prophets who arose among the people as false teachers will also be among you, who will

secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the master who brought them, bringing on

themselves swift destruction.

Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of truth will be maligned.
