Hey everyone, this is Mary DeMuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray you through the Bible verse by verse.

Super grateful to have you here on the 26th day of January. This always feels like the longest month to me and I know it's not the end yet.

But I do feel led to pray for someone with a shoulder issue and so Lord Jesus I pray for my friend who is aching in their shoulder.

Perhaps they've had to have surgery or they had surgery and it didn't work or they're

recovering from surgery or the PT is too hard.

Lord, just be with them.

There is a, that is a hard pain and I pray that they would find you in the middle of that

pain and I pray you would relieve that pain in Jesus' name.

Amen. All right. Today I'm reading from 2 Peter chapter 1 in the middle of that pain, and I pray you would relieve that pain in Jesus' name. Amen.

All right, today I'm reading from 2nd Peter chapter 1 in the World English Bible, and this is

what it says. Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained

a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, seeing that

his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the

knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue,

by which he is granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises,

that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature,
