0:16.0	We've spent time last week with Dr. Jan Martin
0:19.0	looking at second Nephi 3 through 5, and she showed us some things I'd never seen before.
0:26.3	What are you thinking about when we hit second Nephi 6 through 10?
0:29.6	Well the one thing I was thinking about was that second Nep-9 is in there.
0:34.3	We know that Jacob has his own book that's only seven chapters,
0:38.3	but we get to hear from Jacob in some of these chapters.
0:41.3	The second Eiffi- I'm a profoundly wonderful chapter.
0:44.9	When you think of the Book of Mormon and the doctrines of the Book of Mormon,
0:48.4	second E-Fai 9 should come right to mind. The thing I've been thinking about John is the way this lesson
0:54.0	finishes. If you go to second Nephi 10 versus 23, 24, and 25, this lesson
0:59.7	finishes with such an uplifting few statements. up your hearts remember you're free to
1:05.5	act for yourselves you can choose the way of eternal life talks about the power of the
1:11.4	atonement and being received into the eternal kingdom of God.
1:15.1	So knowing that's where we're going to end up, it gets me excited to see what we're going to learn.

1:30.4	I think Jacob may have been the most powerful philosopher slash theologian of the Book of Mormon.
1:39.0	Jacob has such profound thought and he obviously learned much of it from his dad to Lehi.
