Hello my friends welcome back to Unshaken I'm Jared Halverson and I hope you not only survived but enjoyed last week's marathon dive into the Isaiah chapters of the Book of Mormon. I know those were long lessons and you're welcome to some of you and I'm sorry to others of you.

I know I can't please everyone and I wish that I could but I finally resigned myself to my fate

realizing that man despite the insanity of it all, I can't leave a stone unturned.

I can't leave a scripture unintroduced.

And so I think I'm finally resigned to the reality that I'm going to be going

verse by verse until we catch back up to where we started four years ago at the

end of Jacob. So the next few weeks they'll be longer lessons and then we'll cut down drastically with old

materials still available to those who want the deep dive.

It's been interesting.

In the same week, I was called a liar for keeping things longer when I had said I'd make them shorter and I was told I was listening to the devil for trying to shorten these things at all. So yeah, you can't please everyone. I wish that I could be all things to all people so that by all means I might be the means of saving some to paraphrase Paul

But in the meantime I am grateful for the time that we spend long or short in scripture together.

I pray it's a blessing to you and I know it's a blessing to me.

So thank you for allowing us to study together.

Now one other thing I wanted to give you a heads up about is this

weekend I'm going to be posting a special episode of Unshaken that's going to be

a recording of a presentation I gave at BYU last month that I feel is one of the most important

things I've taught in a long, long time.

It was filmed and posted on YouTube by

by BYU but it was in a large auditorium the sound was absolutely horrific

so I asked them if I could have a copy and post it myself and with the help of some audio wizards out there try to make it so it was

actually palatable to the ear. I will post that this weekend and honestly I'm inviting you to share this with people who need it.
