So, 2 Kings chapter 3. You can turn there if you haven't already. And once you do,

we'll pray and ask God's blessing on our time together in His words. So let's do that.

Loving Heavenly Father, first of all, we want to thank you for protecting Milton from what could

have been just disastrous and really serious.

And Lord, clearly you have your hand of protection on these men that are out there working in the building. But Lord, we just do want

to pray for their safety and not just physical safety, but spiritual as well, Lord, from just

the attack of the enemy. The spiritual warfare is increasingly more intense. And we know this because the enemy

does not want us out there bringing light to that community in that area. So Lord, we're

just going to ask you to protect us from the attack of the enemy, the spiritual warfare, and of course, the

physical as well. Lord, thank you for our building, and thank you for what you're doing

and are going to do. Tonight, Lord, we desire nothing more than for you to speak into our lives in and through your words.

So we want to give you our undivided attention as you do.

So, Lord, thank you in advance for what you're going to do tonight in our time together in your word.

Before we get started, though, I want to point out something that I found very interesting. There was an archaeological discovery of what's called

the Moabite stone. It's also called the Mesha Steley. And it was discovered in 1868.

It's really quite fascinating.

It contains a Moabite inscription that confirms many of the events that we're going to

see tonight in 2nd Kings chapter 3.
