that you're going to hear a lot on this podcast,

both within these introduction topics

and with the interviewees. There is a common

thread with most of the booked interviews so far and it's important that you

understand what this phrase means if you don't already. High

functioning alcoholic.

Why are you going to hear this phrase a lot?

Because there are so many of us and we are not what pops into your head

when you hear the word alcoholic.

We usually imagine someone who's destroyed. when you hear the word alcoholic.

We usually imagine someone who's destroyed their life.

We imagine the homeless guy under the bridge.

Someone in jail, someone who's broke, sloppy, falling over, can't keep a job, his family avoids him, etc.

And we've been sold and believe in the stigma that we see in films and on TV and maybe you've heard an urban legend of your drunk
