Today's guest is someone who I've actually interviewed in the past during the pandemic when he first ran for Congress.

David Kim is running again in the 34th District in Los Angeles.

And while yes, he is running as a Democrat

and we do talk a lot about social and political issues,

the way in which we talk about it in my opinion

is not necessarily along political party lines and we actually go

into that a bit because it's more so about meeting people where they're at.

This really though isn't meant to be a platform for politics, but more so a platform for stories

and exploring the paths that people take that have gotten them to where they are now.

you were actually one of the people that was at the top of my list because I feel like you're someone who lives authentically and lives true to your voice.

And I think that's really apparent with what you do for work during your day job,

if you will, and also your run for Congress in the 34th District here in Los Angeles and I know we'll dive more into that today.
