now an Orthodox priest serving at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church in Lafayette,

So we'll go ahead and get started.

And when we get started in just a moment,

we're going to be picking up at the beginning of St. Paul's

second epistle to the Corinthians chapter 8,

um,

by way of sort of quick catch-up,

and I won't belabor it too much.

But we're sort of in the dead center now of St. Paul's second epistle to the Corinthians.

And as we mentioned, this is actually at least St. Paul's fourth epistle to the Corinthians.

Because as we mentioned, in 1st Corinthians as we were working through it,

we saw that he mentions a previous letter.

So that means that one was at least his second letter.

And we know that there was at least one letter that St. Paul calls his

sorrowful letter in between what we call first and second Corinthians.

And as we've also talked about, Second Corinthians itself may be made up of at least two

originally separate letters that have now been put together into one letter.

So St. Paul wrote a number of letters to the Corinthians.
