books before. I'm just throwing my voice, folks. That's all I'm doing. So, so sorry about that.

Yeah, sorry. All right, on with the show. This week, Black House continues with chapters three and four.

We continue this weird kind of bird's eye view introduction to the town of French

Lansing and the Cooley County it sits in.

But things change a little bit because we do finally meet both our protagonist and a familiar face all in once because this is the reading in which Jack Sawyer appears in our book, Matt.

Yay.

So we have tons and tons and tons and tons of things to say about these next two chapters.

I am very excited to get in them with you.

But I just want to get your overall feeling right now, Matt. How are you enjoying the book so

far? Okay. So just to step back for a second, last week, I was maybe more negative about the

intro to this book than I have been about almost any intro on any of the books we've covered.

And it was really interesting to me because our listeners are wonderful.

So they didn't say, Matt, you're fucking idiot.

But they did sort of say, I got a lot of like, I disagree.

I think the, I think the intro to the book works great.

And that made me think, okay, well, it doesn't change my opinion to hear that.
