Eyes on Ukraine, but the allegation by the head of Black Rock, a very powerful equity company,

Larry Fink, saying that China is supporting our enemy by trading with Russia.

Is that accurate, John? Has that been determined without doubts and

is the U.S. in position to do anything about it?

Certainly the Chinese are supporting the Russians. It's not just trade for oil or things which are important for Russia's economy from a macroeconomic level. It's also support for the defense industrial base, you know, supplying things like

dual deals goods like you know microelectronics and CNC machines for

producing military equipment and weapons and

and really I think it's going beyond that.

Recently, the maybe next week,

that Kurt Campbell US official said you know hey we're worried

that it's going beyond just dual use it's it's really from a high level the highest

levels of the few countries have you know are agreeing to

cooperate on defense industrial ties and and the rest of the Russians are getting a

lot of stuff in China and they're also supplying the Chinese with advanced military technology

including things like submarine technology. So it's it goes both ways and I note

there was there's last last week I believe there was a report out of Reuters that now the Russians are establishing a

program in China for joint design and production of UAVs both the kind of

of long-range one-way attack kamikaze drones and kind of like a reaper-style strike

eukab. So it is increasing that the Chinese support and it has been a lifeline for the Russian

Defense Industrial Base and it looks like that cooperation is only deepening.
