I did not know existed, which is that our neighbor to the north, the best neighbor anyone could wish for, Canada, has approved the sale of 100,000 metric tons of its

uranium ore to the People's Republic of China.

In addition, there is a plan to sell 12,000 or more metric tons per year for four years to China.

Why? Well, it's possible it's for civilian use to power up a country that's now depending on dirty coal.

It's also possible that some of it, especially a bit too much for their nuclear power fleet can be used to manufacture bombs.

Henry the first recommendation you have is name and shame.

How? What is How does that work? A Senate and congressional aid

rights in the National Defense Authorization Act request list, we want a report.

This is trivial.

We have spare bureaucrats and intelligence folks

to produce at least a bad version of this report every year.

They don't do anything like that.

And what the report requirement would be is please tell us what foreign and domestic firms are

selling to the entities that we have listed that are responsible for making bombs in hostile countries in Russia, China, wherever.

And you just get started and you know I'm sure the first reports will be not great, but you keep doing them until they become

really high fidelity reports.

I can assure you that the nuclear industry will look at that report and pay close attention to whether they're listed.

And if they are, they'll think twice about continuing in the activity, whether there's a law against it or not.
