I'm John Batchett with Professor Richard Epstein of the Hoover Institution, who generously

comments on two cases, one before the law now, the indictment of Donald Trump by the

District Attorney in Manhattan, Alvin Bragg, and the second speculative about the Mar-a-Lago

classified documents with the special counsel Jack Smith.

Because Manhattan is now fixed, and Richard has had an opportunity with his colleagues

to read the indictment.

Richard, I do not read indictments.

I've looked at this one, didn't understand what I was seeing because I don't have anything

to compare it to.

I'm told, and you have mentioned that the indictment is surprisingly not specific or not

weighty.

Is that purposeful to bring an indictment that you do not reveal everything you have in

the early stages of the accusation?
