Wall Street Journal editorial page I recommend by Judge McCasey about the Section 3, 14th

Amendment, disqualification from holding office.

There are many careful words here, and the Professor has explicated some of them, especially

office and officer, but we come to a big, great, big word that is more out of romantic

fiction than it is out of my understanding of how business is done in Washington.

The word is insurrection.

Shall I have engaged an insurrection or rebellion against the Constitution of the United

States or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof?
