Defense of Democracy as my co-host as we discuss with David Dayut of the FDD, the Hezbollah threat,

the ongoing harassing fire.

The headlines in these last hours include the firing of a Falock 2 rocket at a military command

center in northern Israel that is a guided weapon not a terror weapon only. So we're

looking at Hezbollah poking, poking at a very well-armed and

ready to go Israeli military. Bill you have a question for David.

Yes, David, so prior to October 7th, one attack from Hezbollah, such as what John described, would have invited a violent response from Israel.

Now we have multiple attacks like this occur

occurring daily. This has become the new normal. Israel is being pressured by the

United States to constrain its actions against Hezbollah.

Is this sustainable?

Can Israel survive as a country with daily attacks from the north?

Look, that's a very good question.. It's not just you that's saying that Hassan Nasrula himself, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, has said on several occasions that at a single attack,

like the ones that have been,

of the ones that have been launched since October 8th,

would have led the Israeli to enter

into Lebanon and launch a war.

He's, of course, tried to frame Israel's reluctance to do so as a demonstration or as a reflection of the strength of the so-called resistance.

So, you know, he's saying that they're deterred.

The reality is though, and this is something else that they've said,

they're looking at the international community
