I'm John Batsch with Andy McCarthy and Thaddeus McCatter, my colleagues, and the discussion is starting about Hunter Biden, moving to the President of the United States, but

now it comes to Congress and vacation time, which Andy assures me and Thaddeus has supported it is prior to all consideration of politics.

It's time to go home for four weeks and to come back and think about all this again.

Andy, I know that I'm about to ask a question that is laughable, but did the new Speaker of the House

count on Christmas vacation to give him a buffer so

they could go through all of this and not have to resolve anything and then when they

come back they can play games again. Well B Batius knows this side on the street a lot better than I do, John, but my take on this is it would have been preferable, obviously, as we've discussed for the house to

approve the impeachment inquiry first and then subpoena Hunter Biden however

because their vacation was coming up, they were brushed up

against a calendar. Hunter Biden's a hot number now because he's just been indicted

and there's a lot of information about him out

there that people are interested in. In four weeks that might not be the case in

four weeks we'll be talking about Iowa, New Hampshire, and the impending Trump trial, the presidential

election, etc.

So I think they were in a hot hurry to indict, to subpoena Hunter Biden now and the unfortunate thing about that because if they were pressed up against their vacation

is they hadn't gotten the vote yet to authorize the inquiry until it turned out the very day
