I'm John Batser with Peter Berkowitz of the Hoover Institution writing at Real Clear Politics for weeks now,

about what we witnessed that was so stumblingly, bluntly scary that I didn't have

anything fresh to say about it. That was the most expensive and the most elite

universities in America, seem to have immediately embraced

the idea of being anti-Semitic and public as if it was about anything else than hatred puzzling.

And I find in a wonderful interview I recommend to everybody at the Free Press, Barry Weiss,

the editor-in-chief of the free press, and the man called Simply Seinfeld, the comedian,

having a conversation about comedy in the face of DEI, comedy in the face, thou shalt not. Comedy in an age in which somebody pulled the

statue of Ulysses Grant over in San Francisco. That was the moment I quit, Peter.

So, but what is fun about the interview

is that the way Barry Weiss introduces the topic, she says,

and what about the Ivy League's anti-Semites? And I thought that's what they are.

And the answer was always in front of us.

And Rishi Zunak, who's running for re-election now,

and the polls say he will not be re-elected but he did contribute

because some weeks ago beginning of May he called together the university heads of

their system profoundly different than ours, the governments in everything.

And he said, this is not going to happen.

And largely it did not.

There were protests, there were camp cities, but they weren't anywhere overwhelmingly
