Hey friends. Normally I record our podcast episodes over Zoom, and normally it's just me. But this

episode is different for two reasons. First, we recorded this one in person sitting around a tiny

table in Sterling Heights, Michigan before a concert. Second, our girls jumped in and got to be

a part of the conversation with one of their favorite musicians, Colton Dixon. We were all nervous, but this was so

fun, so special, and unbelievably memorable. We talk about his path from American Idol to now,

what it takes to stay in something for the long haul, and how he navigates life on the road with a

family at home. We also talk a lot about faith and his new children's book, Build a Boat.

The girls asked thoughtful questions, and Colton gives some really honest and interesting answers in this episode. And then, at the very end, they asked if they could sing Build a Boat with him.
