And I've just read a really moving book, a really thought-provoking book about open-ended questions that we ask people and people's stories. It's called Stories from a Stranger. Every person has a story. And the author Hunter Prosper is here. Welcome, Hunter. Hello, Jenny. Thank you for having me. I'm very excited. You've got a story. I mean, this is a story about stories. That's what the book is about. It's about our connected humanity. And it's amazing to read how many people say the same things. You know, just a lot of common themes between the ways that we think about ourselves, the ways we grow up, the ways we

relate to other people. But you have a story where you're working in a really emotionally heavy

situation as an ICU nurse. And I really can't even imagine Hunter, like the pace of that

and the people that come through. And so you're in the

habit of talking to people and learning their stories. And you say that, you know, in some ways,

you felt like that made the job harder. And so you stopped asking. Can you talk about how that

led into this incredible project that you have now?

So you're referencing me being an ICU nurse.

Yeah.

And yeah, it's a very intense environment.

I mean, it's in the name.

And it's something that I wasn't prepared for.

So I graduated college, really excited to be a nurse.

You know, you go through your four years of school and every

single day you're like i can't wait to take that test at the end of the at the end of these four years and

become a nurse and so i became it and one thing you can't ever study for practice for is the

emotional toll that it can take on you because when you're a student you know you kind of go home and

you study and stuff but whenever you become an adult and you're actually working in this environment
