You've had so many of my heroes on your podcast lately.

I've really enjoyed listening to your conversations. I'm so excited to be having a conversation

with you.

Oh, that's so sweet.

I actually, when I was looking through your bio and saw that you're a simplicity parenting coach. So that's with Kim John Payne.

Yes, exactly. I took their coaching certification, which was fantastic. It wasn't led by him. He had, you know, one of his facilitators lead it, but such fantastic

tools for, even for parents, you know, one of the ones that is top of mind is the small doable change principle where as parents we say we want to spend more time outside and then our kids all get sick and we're inside for a year and we go in this cycle of shame and often parents will just give up at that point.

But what he says is just get back on anticipating that there might be a bad day where you feel like a failure

but you just get back up.

Wow, I mean that is really important.

I feel like that with our kids music lessons.

I need that message.

Okay, well let me read a little bit about your bio here. You are a mother of seven children, you guys are a homeschooling family, and you guys have been homeschooling for 25 years. You have graduated five of your seven children. Congratulations.

And two of your students have an honors

degrees from their preferred university.

One is pursuing a PhD.

So you've got adult children, is always I think a very interesting topic
