flip-flopped lives. You started in Michigan and now you're in Germany and I started in Germany and now I'm in

Michigan. But tell us a little bit about yourself. Tell us about your family and where you're from.

So I'm originally from Michigan. I haven't lived there in probably a decade now.

We currently live in Germany. My husband's in the military so that's why we're here.

And I have two kids, I have a daughter, she's five, she's in kindergarten.

And then I have a son who, he's actually going to be three in like two, two and a half weeks.

And we have four animals, so the dog, we have two dogs and two cats and yeah we've lived we've been in Germany for about let's see two and a half years now and then we we've also lived in Texas as a family and

we've lived in California as a family and now we're in Germany criss-crossed the country.

I think both from the standpoint of just the change in culture

and the change in climate, the seasons operate differently, but that, but also the

change in community, which are two things that you wrote in to talk about and I

think will be really helpful for people. Well let's start with a climate one.

So you know you've lived in all sorts of different climates. Obviously, Michigan gets real cold in the winter, but you've been in Texas and California and you have two little kids. So you're having to help them deal with these different

places and so what advice you have for people who are dealing with the really hot

the extreme heat or the real cold weather.

So I'm from Michigan, so I think I expected to be better equipped to, like when we moved to Germany

where it was colder, I was like, oh, I've done this, I know how to do this, but it's a lot different when you have little kids that you need to dress and keep warm and also that we like to spend lengthy times outside during the day and

I mean like I don't know if I ever had any like special cold gear.
