The topic for discussion that we're going to be covering today is weddings and funerals.

So the vast majority of us will attend several weddings and several funerals during our lifetime.

And both of them provide excellent

opportunities for us to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in the messages that the pastors

deliver at those events.

And so the question that we want to address with this episode today is, how can brides,

grooms, and bereaved family members help to advance the gospel by creating

gospel-centered services at their weddings and at their funeral?

So in other words, how can the shape, form, and the different elements of weddings and funeral

services be used to point people to Christ.

And so that's the topic we want to cover on this show.

And I'm just curious, Aaron, why, why this topic?

What brought this subject to mind?

It's been rattling around in my head for a while.

And then some time ago we had a listener send us a question asking us about a specific question about funerals.

And I would just, I'm not going to put it in their words, but in my own words, like, is it appropriate to call funerals, for example, life celebrations?
