You know in Napoleon Hill's books, just about all of his books,

he wrote about going the extra mile,

doing more than you're paid to do.

Because when you do that, people notice.

People notice your value.

They notice your energy.

They notice that you are making more money for the company and when

they notice that they will pay you more because they want you to stay.

Because they notice your value, what you're bringing to the company.

However, instead of going the extra mile,

most people don't even go the mile.

Well, at the same time, complain about how they're not getting paid enough.

Well, if you want to get paid more, you have to become more, you have to do more, you got to do more than you are paid to do.

I know that's hard for some people to really grasp, because they're like, hey, if you're not paying me,

then why should I do it?

Well, it's that kind of attitude that's going to keep you exactly where you are.
