looking forward to talking about vulnerability and why it's so important. Ever since my partner

Dek and I moved back to my hometown about nine months ago, I've been adapting to our new

lifestyle and environment. After nearly eight years of living in the city,

I felt ready to come home and to embrace a slower way of living. And mostly I've been really

enjoying it. I can wake up in the morning and take the dogs outside to enjoy the fresh air.

I usually work from home at a beautiful desk space that

Dek and I created, with views over the garden and the mountains in the distance. In the warmer

weather we go swimming in the river and hopefully next winter we'll make it up to the snow. In many

ways, it's exactly what we were looking for at this stage in our lives and we're making the most of being here and appreciating it.

However, I can't say that it's all been easy.

I spend quite a lot of time on my own and I miss many of my good friends from the city.

Since Deck and I now share a car and he needs it most days for work, it can be hard to

get out and about. I used to be able to take my laptop down to a cafe and work there, where even
