Okay, so there's this big debate. I don't know how big it is, but at least in the world of online marketers, internet entrepreneurs, those of you who are trying to sell products on Amazon or build websites or whatever it is we do involving the internet. There's this big debate, which is the right path, especially as we're in the season of kids graduating from high school and talking about college, you know, which is the right path, especially as we're in the season of kids graduating from high school and talking

about college, you know, which is the right path? A degree or self-education? You know, as Jim Rohn

0:30.9

said famously, a formal education will get you a job. Self-education will make you wealthy, right,

0:39.3

will get you a fortune. And I feel strongly on this and other people feel strongly in

0:45.3

different times. You've had different people, you know, make some very strong cases in one

0:49.3

direction or the other, but I don't think we have to choose necessarily. Now, me personally, if I'm advising a young

0:56.1

person, I'm going to say, man, you better justify every dollar that you put into education

1:01.9

in any institution, be it self-education, a building that you go to. If someone else is paying

1:33.7

wrong podcast if you don't agree with that. I mean, some of these degrees that you can get now

1:37.3

from the universities, it's completely meaningless. No one even knows what it means, let alone

1:41.3

you can go get a job now. So you keep that in mind,

1:45.4

and you keep in mind that 80% of people in the United States, you know, high 70s, 80%

1:51.7

approximately, would say they're doing work that they don't feel like they were made to do.

1:56.7

They don't find it meaningful. They don't feel like they're fully applying themselves.

1:59.6

They don't find joy in their work. 80% of us are there to where They don't feel like they're fully applying themselves. They don't find joy in their work.

2:01.1

80% of us are there to where we don't feel like we were doing exactly what we were made to do.

2:07.3

And the facts start adding up that, at least in my mind, regardless of what your plans are, you know, for the most part,
