What has the reaction been, Jamma, since you released this series from people?

It's been overwhelming. It's surreal. We have been on the receiving end of many more stories of abuse

and jeans as representative of many of those. Right now we have probably almost a hundred people

who have come forward that claim to have been abused by Mascul and we, you know...

Not just Mascul, right? The implication is that others aren't the police department.

Yes, Doctor.

Yeah.

I was raised Catholic. I had a positive experience in the Catholic Church.

So when I began making this, it was very important to me that it not be an anti-Catholic film.

And I think my eyes, the blinders have been ripped off in a lot of ways on how the Catholic church,

and especially the archdiocese of Baltimore, operates, and I think they have failed children and adults repeatedly throughout their history.

But I also think it's important, and I hope to take away from the keepers. This isn't just a Catholic church problem.

This is also a problem of many other institutions, including governmental and state institutions,

that failed these people in Baltimore repeatedly over the years.
