Welcome to the show everybody fantastic episode one of my heroes I love what I do I love this

podcast so much because I get this opportunity to meet my heroes like today.

By the way, if I got out of repeat myself a couple times or whatever, it's because he's a little

hard of hearing and I forgot he has one ear that doesn't work and I forgot my headphones and so we did it without headphones.

So there was a little bit of straining to hear me talk without me talking too loud and screwing up the sound and everything.

But I think it all came out really nicely and I'm so happy that I get to do this.

I'm thankful for you guys. I've been having one of those weeks

where I haven't been able to do anything. I've just been, once in a while I'm just like paralyzed.

I've been reading and writing and I was going through a period where I wasn't doing much reading and writing and I was just doing like emails and administrative stuff and then it just swung back the opposite way and recording these intros recording the ads and stuff sometimes I just I get paralyzed I can't do it as easy as this would be

This is the easiest part of the podcast is this few minutes when I just got a say a little something talk about how I got

think 40 dates on there now and that's this tremendous undertaking and I was just thinking about

you know the difficulties of booking two scientists and a second comedian on every single show for stand-up science.

And I just started feeling overwhelmed.

In the meanwhile, I'm in Jamaica and it's the ocean and a tropical paradise and I'm hanging out in a hammock and man no

better place to feel anxious and stressed I'll tell you that much but it's been real hard

to get you know when you can do all the work that you don't need done?

You can do that no problem.

That's what this last like 10 days has been like for me like the simplest things that need to get done

are just near impossible for me and the other stuff that's in the periphery

that's what that's what I'm consuming my time with but it's all valuable in the

end it's all as long as I keep on grinding as long as you're doing
