| 1:44.3 | ad. What's your quote for this week? My quote for the week is a negative mind will never give you |
| 1:49.7 | a positive life. This is by Shori Obata. It came from that little motivation app that I've |
| 1:57.2 | kind of been using. You know, I've kind of lost a bit of interest in it, to be honest. I remember we talked about this about a month ago. You know, I paid 30 bucks for the year and it's okay. You know, I see it sometimes. You know, it was really cool for the first week or so. Wouldn't really recommend people sign enough for it, but it is cool here and there to get those cool um quotes when |
| 2:17.7 | you kind of need it so this quote was just a reminder to myself to just you know keep staying positive you know i i don't think you're always going to be 100% positive but you know when when there's things that are just kind of getting your way or you know people are bothering you or just you know you're you're just kind of stuck um you know it's a good reminder that truthfully just being negative won't give you that positive life. It's good to switch gears and, you know, focus on the good in life, the things you're grateful for and all that good stuff. That's awesome. For my quote, it's pretty simple. Once again, I've been liking the short and sweet quotes these days. But my quote is, you just can't beat the person who never gives up. And that's by Babe Ruth, the Great Babe Ruth. And I love that quote because, you know, I think even, you know, I have some clients who have struggled in the past and they just keep saying I refuse to fail and they'll have a bad week here and there and they just keep fighting. And because of that, they succeed. and, you know, it's the second adversity comes they quit you know that really end up just punishing themselves like especially with fitness you know the the thing i've been hearing more and more lately just in everyday life is oh i used to be in great shape or i remember when i used to look great like i challenge people like why don't you look like that now you, like why aren't you in your best shape every day of your life? |
| 3:25.2 | You know, we're always striving to get better. That should be the goal to improve. And the reason for that is usually someone encounters some form of adversity, whatever that may be. Maybe it's medical, maybe it's physical, emotional, whatever it is. And usually, you know, they'll kind of let their fitness, you know, struggle or, you know, fail as a result of that. And then usually, you know, some people will just, when they get down, they'll stay down. But one thing I really like to encourage people is when you fall down or something happens, it's about getting back up, getting back to it, you know, and failure is okay. It's natural it'll happen. But it's just about not quitting and not giving up and having that attitude of, you know, how am I going to come out of this? How am I going to grow? And how am I going to be better? I love that, man. You know, it kind of relates to one of the biggest tips we had in our latest YouTube video, the top five mistakes we often see people making. And it's kind of like just having that pause mentality or just kind of like having an on and off switch. And I know Josh has probably |
| 4:15.5 | a lot of friends like this or old clients or just whatever it is like that we encounter. Like a lot of |
| 4:19.8 | people just always have like, you know, just things going on in their life that kind of leaves them |
| 4:25.1 | to like not get the results they desire. I think one of the most powerful things is being able to |
| 4:29.1 | look at a situation and realize, hey, I might have to take a step back and work out a little bit less these next couple months or a couple weeks, but still stay on track to the best of your ability. |
| 4:38.4 | you know and it's just such a powerful thing like you know we've been doing this for eight to 10 years and i don't think we've like really taken time off like there's been some weeks where you |
| 4:42.0 | work out less you you you eat a little bit worse and stuff but at the same time you just kind of |
| 4:46.3 | stay the course and really taking time off like there's been some weeks where you work out less you you you eat a little |
| 4:50.4 | bit worse and stuff but at the same time you just kind of stay the course and make it a lifestyle and |
