This week's story is a listener suggestion. Thank you to one of my OG listeners, Ken, for bringing

Carla's story to my attention. This will unfortunately only be a short episode, because honestly

and sadly, there just isn't much information out there about both the kind of teenager Carla

was and what

happened in the aftermath of her murder. This makes my sharing with you today of her story

all that more important. Her stepfather risked his freedom to fight for justice for Carla.

One of the many reasons we cannot let Carla and what happened to her to be forgotten.
