And welcome back to Corpus Delicti, the podcast.

We are still continuing with the tag team series, which kind of overlays with our

Killing Spree couples that we did a little bit earlier.

But this series really focuses on groups of people.

They don't have to be married.

But they're pretty much a BFFs that go on a killing spree.

So this week we are going to talk about two best friends, which, you know, we all have our childhood best

friends.

You look back on fond times.

You may or may not still be friends with them.

I know people part and go different ways, but you still with Facebook and everything these

days are able to keep in touch.

But today we're going to talk about two friends who didn't have

all that and still manage to, I guess you could say, stand the test of time with their friendship,

but that friendship did not look nearly like I would assume most of ours do. This is the story of

Lauren Herzog and Wesley-Sher Shermanteen, and they were both born in

London, California. Lauren Herzog was born December 8th of 1965, and Wesley Shermanteen was born

February 24th of 1966. The two best friends only lived a street away from one another.

This was a really small town, like we're talking 2,000 people small town.

And it's a farming town.
