KG in the house, and I'm fired up, baby.

0:10.5

It's mailbox Monday. We're always fired up and the caffeine is back.

0:13.8

Let's talk about that.

0:15.2

We mentioned we would actually bring that up.

0:17.2

Did you all survive?

0:18.3

Yeah, I survived.

0:19.9

I did it seven full days, 168 hours with zero caffeine.

0:24.9

You know, I did make a mistake on the first day of having a decaf coffee because I thought it was like

0:29.1

nothing, but then it ends up being like eight milligrams or something. So I did make that mistake,

0:33.6

but I know it did nothing aside from giving me a placebo, but I survived, you know, day one was hectic. Every day got better and better and I felt the need to depend on it way less. It actually felt really good by the end of it. I was like not thinking about it. I wasn't like running right to the coffee machine when I woke up, you know, I definitely don't regret adding it back into my life for this first week. But it was a cool process just to be able to say, hey, I did it. A full week with zero caffeine after six years of having caffeine every single day religiously. I don't think I've ever taken a day off. And that's what it's all about. Like, just these new fun challenges, like we've been having so much fun with it. And we want you to all take part in them as well and that's insane you know knowing that Kyle is six years I was probably over 10 years yeah like it was insane like and once again I've always been very critical of my relationship with caffeine as Kyle you know we have our phases where we go we're going a little bit too crazy it back. You know, like, I've gone down to about a cup of day, something like that.

But, you know, I've never fully cut it out. And, you know, as I said, I'm not sure, you know, hopefully everyone's listened to all these episodes. But, you know, two weeks ago when it kind of came up, I'm like, I'm going to do it. you know, I got to challenge myself here.

1:41.3

And that was really big and scary for me.

1:43.0

And, you know, in retrospect, I'm so thankful I did it.

1:45.1

And it really gave me the mental fortitude.

1:46.6

And it gave me a clear... I got to challenge myself here. And that was really big and scary for me. And, you know, in retrospect, I'm so thankful I did it.

1:45.1

And it really gave me the mental fortitude.

1:46.5

And it gave me a clear idea of what caffeine is to me, the silly as it sounds. If you don't drink coffee, you're probably like, these guys are nuts. You know, they're talking about caffeine. Like, it's their best friend. But, you know, I analyzed it. And I thought I, you know, midway through, I'm like, oh, this is actually pretty good.

2:00.9

Maybe I'll actually not have caffeine anymore.

2:03.2

But, you know, I found it and I thought I, you know, midway through, I'm like, oh, this is actually pretty good. Maybe I'll actually not have caffeine anymore. But, you know, I found myself once

2:04.6

I completed it. I'm like, no. Like, and even Kyle said, it's just something we look forward to, you know, it's joy, like, you know, kind of getting that feeling of pre-I don't need it anymore. and I can kind of see that I don't absolutely need
