Today's webinar tech tools for a better school year is a special interest to all of us as we head into the new school year

here starting up around the country.

Our students with ADHD and with learning issues are juggling, academic demands,

extracurriculars, peer group interactions, all the while coping with

distractibility, with challenges, with focus, that are all the hallmarks of attentional

and learning differences.

So for our kids, the right tech tools can make all the difference between

success and failures. Schools these days are incorporating many web-based tools

that support learning but even more tools, ones that are not typically

adopted across the district may be specifically

helpful to students with ADHD and specific learning issues.

These might be included in IEP or 504, but usually only of parents understand the state of in-school technology

and know how to effectively advocate for the right accommodations.
