In this 3-part interview, we speak with three important historical figures in the history of Proposition 8: Laura Compton - Co-founder of Mormons for Marriage, a pro-gay marriage movement within Mormonism. Morris Thurston - A Harvard trained lawyer and opponent to Proposition 8, and Cary Crall - A BYU student whose letter to the editor discussing Prop 8 motives was censored by the Daily Universe All of these guests are active members of the LDS church. During the interview we also take calls from listeners.

0:27.0	All right, well, you're becoming a mini celebrity.
0:29.0	So welcome to Mormon Stories.
0:32.0	Well, it's funny you said that.
0:34.0	My question is actually directed to Terry.
0:36.0	And Terry, I was wondering if you have any kind of misgivings about this newfound celebrity.
0:40.0	And in particular, do you regret it all being many like atheists and ex-mormons ever Mormon?
0:48.0	Does that bother you at all?
0:52.0	It doesn't. It doesn't bother me because I respect a lot of people and what they've been saying on blogs that are associated with being former Mormons or being atheist.
1:06.0	They have rational and well-reasoned and well-tempered and polite and respectful things to say.
1:15.0	And I'm not embarrassed at all to be associated with those people.
1:21.0	I do have my own personal beliefs.
1:24.0	I'm a member of the church and I'm happy that I am.
1:28.0	I have to check myself sometimes and make sure that I'm not seeking attention and that I'm not allowing this issue to become about me.
1:42.0	I definitely am trying to be vigilant to make sure that I'm not, you know, kind of used as a tool to promote other people's opinions and beliefs that I don't agree with.
1:53.0	But I'm not afraid of being associated with people who disagree with me, belief-wise, having them talk about me and what I wrote and wanting to be my friend on Facebook and chatting me.
2:06.0	And when I'm supposed to be doing biochemistry homework, that's not something I'm afraid of.
