Summary

In today's message, Emily talks about how we all have different experiences in life that have shaped us into who we are today. It's important not to allow other's to place labels on us or place us in a box based on our different life paths. Whether you're a young parent, college graduate, entrpreneur, married or single, that is only one aspect of who you are. The spirit inside of you that brings you to life, that brings you happiness and joy, that is a big part of what makes you who you are. Don't be limited by your mindset or the labels or assumptions people have placed on you. That won't allow you to be the fullest expression of yourself and those aren't your people. The right people want more for you, they encourage you to go deeper. They don't want you to hold back, they want you to push to be the best version of you. We all have a role to play on this Earth. A unique role, specific for you and only you. Get still and  mindful to find out what your role is.

I am your host, Emily Hayden, and you are listening to another Monday message.

0:22.1

Every single Monday, I bring a message of the day to you guys. So here's today's message.

0:27.6

Do not allow anyone or anything to put you inside of a box. Everybody has different past experiences,

0:35.4

different lived things that they've gone through that have shaped and molded

0:38.6

them into who they are today. They have, you know, different trajectories in life. Some people

0:42.8

went to college and got a degree and work a job with that degree. Other people chose a different

0:48.0

route and didn't go to college. They created their own business. And now they're this entrepreneur

0:52.3

and CEO working for themselves. Other people

0:55.7

found incredible positions with CEOs and they work for them and they're part of an incredible

1:00.2

team. Some people got married young. Some people had children young. Some people believe in God.

1:05.9

Some people don't believe in God. We all have different things and experiences in life that have shaped us into who we

1:12.4

are today. And I'm here to tell you not to allow anything or anyone to place you in a box and to

1:19.1

hold onto that identity as an absolute. I think there is an attack on identity right now.

1:25.0

And I think part of that attack is placing labels on people and putting

1:29.6

people in boxes based upon other people's preconceived ideas of what those boxes should look

1:35.1

like. So I'm here to raise your awareness today to tell you that there is so much more inside of you

1:40.7

than the labels and the achievements and the different life paths that you've taken

1:45.6

in life, those things can definitely shape you into who you are, but those things are not who you

1:50.2

are. Who you are goes beyond so much more than what meets the eye, so much more than what is

1:56.1

visible to everybody else around you. Who you are is who you are deep within your spirit. What is that

2:01.9

spirit inside of you that comes alive? What are those moments that bring your spirit to life?
